The Pune Police Commissioner revealed that the teen spent a staggering ₹48,000 in just 90 minutes at a pub before the accident. The police have obtained CCTV footage showing the teenager and his friends consuming alcohol before driving the luxury car. The blood sample of the teenager has been sent for forensic analysis to determine his alcohol levels during the incident.
Following the incident, the boy’s grandfather, who had handed over the car keys and a credit card to the minor that fateful night, expressed regret over his decision. The family driver also claimed that he was driving the Porsche during the accident, but CCTV footage confirmed that it was the juvenile behind the wheel.
The court granted bail to the accused after he was asked to work with the traffic police for 15 days, write a 300-word essay on accidents, undergo treatment for alcohol dependency, and submit a report.
