The troubled marriage of TV actress Dalljiet Kaur with businessman Nikhil Patel has been making headlines, with Dalljiet recently taking legal action against him. After Dalljiet hinted at Nikhil’s extramarital affair, Nikhil confirmed the end of their relationship within a year of marriage. Dalljiet’s co-star Karishma Tanna showed her support by posting a picture of Dalljiet on Instagram Stories, expressing her solidarity. Tanna’s post read, ‘This man has done wrong to her, and I will stand by her till the end. Strong women do not seek revenge; they move on and allow karma to do the work!!’
In response, Dalljiet re-shared Karishma’s post and thanked her for the support. The situation escalated further when Nikhil sent a legal notice to Dalljiet, asking her to collect her belongings from his house in Kenya. Dalljiet approached a Nairobi city court, where an injunction was issued against Nikhil from evicting her and her child Jaydon or disposing of her personal belongings.
The legal battle is set to continue, with the next hearing scheduled for June 28th. Dalljiet got married to Nikhil Patel in Kenya in March last year but returned to India in February this year. Nikhil confirmed their separation, citing challenges in their blended family and cultural differences. Before Nikhil, Dalljiet was married to TV actor Shalin Bhanot, with whom she shares a son. Their divorce took place in 2016, prior to her marriage with Nikhil.
