Yemen’s Armed Forces have carried out a bold operation by sinking one ship and putting another one at risk of sinking for violating the country’s ban on using the waters within the forces’ range to travel to the ports of the occupied Palestinian territories. The forces’ spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Saree, announced these operations recently. The ship named ‘Verbena’ was targeted by a number of missiles and ultimately sank in the Gulf of Aden. Additionally, the ship ‘TUTOR’ is currently at risk of sinking in the coming hours after being targeted by a naval drone, ballistic missiles, and drones.

In light of the genocidal war launched by the Israeli regime against the Gaza Strip, the Yemeni Armed Forces have been applying the ban since October 7. This conflict has resulted in the tragic loss of at least 37,296 Palestinian lives, with a majority being women and children, and another 85,197 individuals have been injured. The Armed Forces issued a stern warning to all companies against dealing with the Israeli enemy and allowing their ships to reach the ports of occupied Palestine, stressing that any such vessels will be targeted within the operational areas of the Armed Forces.

As tensions escalate in the region, the operations conducted by Yemen’s Defense Forces underscore the unwavering commitment to upholding the ban on ships traveling to the occupied Palestinian territories. This bold stance signifies the determination of the Yemeni Armed Forces to combat any collaboration that aids the Israeli regime’s oppressive actions in Gaza. The sinking of ships violating these regulations serves as a clear message to entities engaging with the enemy’s agenda, highlighting the severe consequences of undermining Yemen’s sovereignty and the rights of the Palestinian people.
