Prabhas and Diljit Dosanjh have teamed up for the highly anticipated Bhairava Anthem, the first song from the upcoming film Kalki 2898 AD. Directed by Nag Ashwin, this collaboration promises to be a musical treat ahead of the film’s theatrical release on June 27. The promo of Bhairava Anthem, unveiled amidst much fanfare, showcases Diljit’s signature Punjabi flair intertwined with Prabhas’s undeniable swag. The teaser opens with Diljit amidst a backdrop of fireworks, setting a vibrant tone, followed by Prabhas making a grand entrance in a striking black trench coat, scarf, and sunglasses, sealing the scene with a charismatic handshake.
The movie ‘Kalki 2898 AD’ is a blend of mythology and science, set in a dystopian future where people struggle to survive in Kashi. Prabhas plays a bounty hunter in the film, and the story revolves around the wait for the incarnation of Kalki. The star-studded cast includes actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani in key roles. The film is expected to be a grand cinematic experience, made on a huge budget of Rs 600 crore.
Nag Ashwin, the director of ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, shared insights into the film’s title and timeline, revealing that the story spans from the Mahabharat era to the year 2898 AD. He mentioned the significance of the timeline and how they have worked to create a unique Indian futuristic world without resembling Western sci-fi films. The movie is produced by Vyjayanthi Movies and is set to release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi on June 27.
