NEET UG Result 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially declared the NTA NEET UG Result 2024 today, June 30, 2024. Students who appeared for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (UG) – 2024 retest on June 23, 2024, can now access their results on the official website https://exams.nta.ac.in/NEET/. To view the NTA NEET Scorecard, candidates need to input their application number and date of birth. The NTA NEET Result also includes the topper list and merit list.
Candidates were given the opportunity to challenge the NEET Answer Key until 11:00 PM on June 29, 2024. Any objections raised by candidates were reviewed by subject experts, and revisions were made to the Answer Key accordingly. The final Answer Key, once finalized by experts, will be used to prepare and publish the results. The deadline for objection challenges and processing fee payment was also set for June 29, 2024, until 11:00 PM.
The NEET UG exam saw a significant number of candidates this year, with over 24 lakh students appearing for the examination. Out of these, 56.4% of candidates have qualified, marking a similar passing percentage to the previous year.
The scoring criteria for NEET UG exam includes +4 marks for correct answers, -1 mark for incorrect responses, and 0 marks for unanswered questions. In cases where candidates obtain equal marks, tie-breaking rules are implemented based on performance in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and incorrect answers.
The NEET UG Result announcement also highlighted that Rajasthan has secured the highest number of toppers, with a total of 11 candidates from the state achieving Rank 1 in the results. The merit list features candidates from various states, genders, and categories, showcasing the diversity of top performers.
NTA has provided All India Rank to candidates, and the selection process for MBBS/BDS seats will be based on these ranks. The NEET UG Result data will be utilized by various central and state entities for admissions, including B.Sc. Nursing courses and BVSc & AH courses.
