Tabu recently shared a memorable experience from her shooting days for the film Virasat, directed by Priyadarshan. In an interview with Zoom, she recalled how director Priyadarshan wanted her to have oily hair for her character in the film. The hairstylist initially suggested using gel to achieve the look, but Priyadarshan had a different idea. On set, he surprised Tabu by pouring an entire bottle of coconut oil on her head. Tabu mentioned that this made the hairstyling process effortless for her, as she only needed to braid her long, oil-drenched hair and get ready in five minutes. Virasat, which is a remake of the Tamil film Thevar Magan, starred Tabu alongside actors like Anil Kapoor and Pooja Batra.
