Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary fulfilled his vow on Wednesday in Ayodhya by taking off his turban and dedicating it at the Lord Ram Temple, marking the completion of his commitment regarding Chief Minister Nitish Kumar. Choudhary, who is also the BJP state president, took a dip in the Saryu river before offering his turban at the temple. His vow stemmed from Nitish Kumar’s transition to the Mahagathbandhan in 2022 before returning to the National Democratic Alliance in January this year. Choudhary had pledged to wear the turban until Nitish Kumar resigned as Chief Minister, a promise he fulfilled upon Kumar’s return to the NDA. The BJP leader expressed his devotion to Lord Ram by fulfilling his vow in honor of fulfilling his commitment. Choudhary also visited the Hanuman Garhi temple in Ayodhya to offer prayers, embracing his resolution with a spiritual journey. The event symbolizes a significant shift in Bihar’s political landscape and the personal dedication of Samrat Choudhary to his principles.
