The latest developments in the case reveal that CBI has been conducting searches at multiple locations in Godhra, Ahmedabad, Kheda, and Anand districts of Gujarat in connection with the Godhra cheating case. Additionally, the agency has arrested journalist Jamaluddin in Hazaribag, Jharkhand, for his alleged involvement in assisting the principal and vice-principal of Oasis School in Bihar for the paper leak matter.

The arrests and searches are part of a broader investigation into the alleged cheating incident that took place during a medical examination in a center in Godhra. Earlier, the Gujarat Police had arrested five individuals, including the head of a coaching center, in connection with the fraudulent activities. A dozen students, along with their parents, and a Vadodara-based coaching center, are believed to be involved in the scam.
