India captain Rohit Sharma has called on fans to join the team for the open bus T20 World Cup victory parade, which is scheduled to start at 5 PM on Thursday, July 4. The team will first land in New Delhi early on Thursday to meet PM Narendra Modi, before flying to Mumbai. Rohit Sharma extended a warm invitation to fans to celebrate the win at Marine Drive & Wankhede Stadium on July 4th from 5:00 pm onwards. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah also invited fans to join the team in celebrating India’s triumph. The players and support staff will be felicitated by PM Modi and Jay Shah will distribute the Rs 125 crore prize money during a special presentation ceremony inside the stadium. The entire contingent will then head to Mumbai, where there will be an open bus parade from Nariman Point to Wankhede Stadium. It’s a special moment for Indian cricket fans to come together and celebrate the team’s victory.
