CMF by Nothing has officially confirmed the launch date for their first smartphone, the CMF Phone 1, along with the unveiling of new products like the Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2. The announcement was made through a post on X, formerly Twitter, stating that detailed information will be provided at their upcoming Community Update on 8th July 2024 at 2:30 PM IST.
The CMF Phone 1 is rumored to come with a 6.7-inch 120Hz OLED display with noticeable bezels, powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 processor, 6GB of RAM, and storage options of 128GB or 256GB. The device is expected to feature a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, a 16MP front-facing camera, and a 5,000mAh battery with 33W charging support.
In terms of design, the CMF Phone 1 is rumored to offer plastic and vegan leather options with a user-replaceable back cover. However, it is noteworthy that the device may not come with NFC connectivity. Global pricing estimates range between $249 and $279, while a leak suggests an Indian market retail price of ₹19,999, indicating a potentially lower actual selling price.
It is worth mentioning that Nothing introduced its CMF brand last year in 2023 with the launch of earbuds, a smartwatch, and a charger. Additionally, Nothing announced integrating OpenAI’s ChatGPT chatbot into all audio products for improved connectivity and responsiveness.

Fans are eager to find out further details about the specifications, design quirks, and availability of the affordable CMF Phone 1, which is anticipated to be a significant addition to the lineup of CMF by Nothing products.
