Human Mobile Devices (HMD) has introduced its first set of HMD-branded feature phones, the HMD 105 and the HMD 110, in India. Priced at Rs 999 and Rs 1,199 respectively, these phones come with built-in UPI functionality, 2G compatibility, and a 1,000mAh battery, offering up to 18 days of standby time. The devices support 9 Indian languages for input and 23 languages for text display, catering to diverse user needs.
The HMD 105 and HMD 110 boast a sleek design with features such as call recording, MP3 player, FM radio, voice assistant, and a camera for QR code scanning for UPI transactions. These phones also come with a modern USB-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack, ensuring ease of use for consumers.
Moreover, both phones align with HMD’s commitment to accessible technology by bridging the digital divide and enhancing financial access through UPI capabilities. Ravi Kunwar, VP-India & APAC, HMD Global, emphasized the brand’s focus on providing innovative features at an affordable price point with the HMD 105 and HMD 110. The devices aim to cater to the aesthetic and functional needs of users, offering a seamless experience.
In terms of availability, the HMD 105 is offered in black, purple, and blue color options, while the HMD 110 comes in black and green variants. Consumers can purchase these feature phones online from E-commerce platforms, HMD.com, and retail stores starting from June 11.
