Hyundai has recently unveiled its new electric model, the Inster EV, based on the Casper SUV, which is the brand’s smallest upcoming EV. While there is no confirmation on its launch in India, it is set to be the most affordable electric vehicle sold overseas. The Inster EV boasts a bold design with circular LED DRLs, pillar-mounted rear door handles, and functional roof rails. The back of the car features pixel-themed light bars, a roof spoiler, circular taillights, and parking lights on the bumper.
Moving on to the interior, the cabin of the Inster showcases dual 10.25-inch screens for the digital instrument cluster and touchscreen infotainment system. It also includes features like a multi-function steering wheel, a 360-degree camera, auto climate control, ventilated seats, wireless charging, and a full ADAS suite. The Inster EV offers two battery pack options – 42kWh and 49kWh, both paired with a single electric motor producing 95bhp / 147Nm and 113bhp / 147Nm, respectively.
One of the key highlights of the Inster EV is its impressive driving range of up to 355km on a single charge. Additionally, fast charging using a 120kW DC charger can achieve a 10-80% charge in just 30 minutes, making it convenient for users on the go. The Inster EV is designed to offer eco-friendly flexibility, agile driving dynamics, and seamless connectivity, making it a practical and efficient choice for urban driving.
