An Indian national, aged 25, was arrested in Canada’s New Brunswick province after he went on a mass groping spree at a water park in Moncton city. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police responded to a report of sexual interference and sexual assault at the public water park on July 7. The man was reported to have been walking around the water park and groping at least twelve people, some of whom were under the age of 16. The police arrested the man on the spot, and he was later released from custody pending a court appearance on October 24.

The police are urging anyone who may have information related to the case to come forward. They have also emphasized the importance of reporting sexual misconduct, assuring victims that they will be listened to and believed. Although the identity of the accused was not disclosed by the police, images of his arrest at the water park have circulated on social media.

Following the arrest, the mother of a minor girl who was allegedly groped by the man shared his pictures on a Facebook community group to warn other parents. She mentioned that the suspect was in the company of other Indian men during the incidents. This incident has led to concerns about the safety of individuals, especially minors, at public recreational places. The police have encouraged parents to communicate with their children if they visited the water park on the day of the incident to gather more information. The investigation is still ongoing, and authorities are actively seeking additional victims or witnesses to come forward in the case.
