Intel is set to introduce its Arrow Lake-S “Core Ultra” Desktop CPUs, featuring configurations that offer up to 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores. The latest leak provides a detailed look at the upcoming lineup, showcasing the power behind the “Core Ultra 200” family. The CPUs will be based on two dies, the 8+16 “B0” configuration and the 6+8 “C0” configuration, serving as the foundation for all SKUs.

The flagship 8+16 “B0” CPU die will drive the Core Ultra 9 and Core Ultra 7 CPUs in varying power options of 125W (K), 65W (Non-K), and 35W (T). The Core Ultra 9 will boast a 24-core and 24-thread configuration, with 4 Xe cores, while the Core Ultra 7 will feature an 8+12 configuration with two variants – one with 4 Xe cores and one without.

On the other hand, the Core Ultra 5 Desktop CPUs will offer diverse configurations from the “B0” and “C0” dies. The 125W Unlocked CPUs will include versions with 6 P-Cores, 8 E-Cores, and 4 Xe cores, with a variant sans iGPU. These chips will provide up to 14 cores and 14 threads, catering to different power needs.

Moreover, the Intel Arrow Lake-S CPUs will feature advanced cache configurations, offering a competitive edge in performance. The CPUs will be a significant addition to the LGA 1851 platform and high-end laptops. The upcoming release is highly anticipated, with the Arrow Lake-S lineup, including the first Z890 boards, expected to launch in October. Performance benchmarks based on ES2 samples have already shed light on the capabilities of the Arrow Lake-S CPUs.

Notably, Intel’s Arrow Lake-S processors signify a transition to a new platform, promising enhanced performance and efficiency over previous architectures. With a focus on optimizing performance, the Arrow Lake-S CPUs aim to set new benchmarks in desktop processing power and pave the way for future innovations in the tech industry.
