iQoo is gearing up to launch a new addition to its Z series in India with the upcoming iQoo Z9 Lite, set to be a part of the iQoo Z9 series. The smartphone, which will succeed the iQoo Z7 Lite, is expected to hit the Indian market in mid-July.
The CEO of iQoo India, Nipun Marya, confirmed the launch date of the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G on his X handle, revealing that the phone will be unveiled on July 15. The smartphone was recently spotted on the Google Play Console, shedding light on some of its key features.
According to the listing, the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G will come with 4GB of RAM, although the company may also release 6GB or 8GB RAM variants. The phone is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800U processor, a reliable octa-core chipset that promises smooth performance.
In terms of charging capabilities, the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G is expected to support 33W USB Type-C fast charging and house a substantial 5000mAh battery. The smartphone is also likely to feature a dual rear camera setup, with a 50MP main camera and a 2MP secondary camera. For selfies and video calls, there could be an 8MP front camera.
It’s worth noting that the iQoo Z9 Lite 5G may be a rebranded version of the Vivo T3 Lite 5G, albeit with some hardware differences. The Vivo T3 Lite features a 6.56-inch display, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 5000mAh battery.
