In a recent revelation by the Navi Mumbai Police, a plot to assassinate Bollywood actor Salman Khan by the Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been uncovered. The gang had reportedly planned to attack Mr. Khan’s car in Panvel, Maharashtra, with weapons sourced from a Pakistani arms supplier. This alarming conspiracy led to the registration of an FIR and the arrest of four individuals connected to the plot.
The arrested suspects, including Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, were apprehended in Gujarat, while Anuj Thapan and another individual were detained in Punjab. Unfortunately, Thapan’s death in police custody has raised questions, with his mother alleging foul play and calling for a CBI investigation into his demise.
The police sources revealed that Lawrence Bishnoi, along with his cousin Anmol Bishnoi and associate Goldie Brar, had acquired high-caliber weapons like AK-47s and M-16s from a Pakistani arms dealer. Furthermore, the investigators discovered that the gang members were associated with foreign-based gangster Goldy Dhillon, who ordered the operatives to carry out target killings.
