Malawi’s Vice President Saulos Chilima and nine other individuals tragically lost their lives in a devastating plane crash that shook the nation. The incident occurred when the small military aircraft they were traveling in crashed amidst bad weather conditions in a mountainous region in the northern part of the country. President Lazarus Chakwera confirmed the heartbreaking news, stating that search efforts led to the discovery of the wreckage after more than 24 hours of intense searching in dense forests and hilly terrain near Mzuzu.
