Microsoft recently introduced a new AI-powered feature called Recall, which is set to debut on Copilot Plus PCs on June 18th. This feature captures screenshots of everything you do on your PC in order to provide quick search and retrieval options. Despite Microsoft’s claims of privacy and security, cybersecurity expert Kevin Beaumont discovered potential security flaws with Recall. Beaumont found that the feature stores data in plain text, making it vulnerable to attacks. This raised concerns about the possibility of attackers extracting sensitive information with malware.
