NASA has recently revealed that four asteroids are currently heading towards Earth, each varying in size. While the idea of asteroids approaching our planet may sound alarming, NASA reassures that these space rocks pose no immediate threat as their movements are being closely monitored. Among these asteroids, two of them are over 100 feet in size and are expected to make a close approach today. The first asteroid, known as 2024 FR3, is approximately the size of an airplane, measuring 78 feet in diameter. Despite its substantial size, it will pass by Earth at a safe distance of 824,000 miles. The second asteroid, named 2024 FG3, is also 100 feet in size and will approach Earth from a distance of 1,940,000 miles. Another asteroid, 2024 FN3, is expected to pass by Earth today at a distance of 4,220,000 miles. Lastly, the asteroid 2024 FL3, a 100-foot monster, will make its closest approach on April 3, 2024, while traveling at a distance of 2,030,000 miles from Earth. This series of asteroid encounters serves as a reminder of the potential dangers present in space, emphasizing the importance of continuous monitoring by NASA and other space agencies to prevent any catastrophic collisions. While the Universe is vast and unpredictable, NASA’s vigilance ensures that Earth remains safe from any asteroid impacts.”
