Nita Ambani, the founder and Chairperson of Reliance Foundation and wife of Mukesh Ambani, was seen shopping for a saree at a shop in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. She visited the holy city to offer prayers at the Kashi Vishwanath temple ahead of her younger son Anant Ambani’s wedding to Radhika Merchant on July 12 in Mumbai. Nita Ambani was captured enjoying local delicacies like chaat and attending the Ganga Aarti during her visit.
Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant, who started as childhood friends and are now in love, are gearing up for their wedding. Their intricately designed wedding invitation features motifs of Hindu deities and unfolds to reveal a miniature silver temple playing devotional music when opened. The invite comes with personalized gifts for guests, such as an embroidered cloth with initials, a blue shawl, and a box of sweets.
Before the big day, the Ambani family held two pre-wedding celebrations – a luxurious three-day event in Jamnagar followed by a lavish cruise through the Mediterranean. The upcoming wedding is set to be a grand affair, with renowned personalities expected to grace the occasion with their presence.
