The Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha, has officially declared the Class 12 exam result. Girls outperformed boys in all streams. The Odisha board +2 results for Science, Arts, Commerce, and Vocational streams have been announced simultaneously.
A total of 3,84,597 students from various streams appeared in the Class 12 exams held between February 16 and March 20, 2024. The pass percentage for girls is higher than that of boys in all streams this year. In the Arts stream, the pass percentage stood at 80.95%, while it was 82.27% in Commerce and an impressive 86.93% in Science.
To check the CHSE Odisha 12th Result 2024, students need to enter their roll number, registration number, and security captcha code on the official websites – chseodisha.nic.in and orissaresults.nic.in. Additionally, students can access their provisional marksheets from HS school e-space and DigiLocker.
In the Science stream, out of 1,15,202 students who appeared, 60,973 were boys and 54,229 were girls. The pass percentage for boys was 86.21%, while it was 87.74% for girls. Similarly, in Commerce, 16,466 boys and 9,431 girls appeared for the exam. Girls registered a pass percentage of 85.55%, while boys had a pass percentage of 80.40%.
The Odisha board did not release a list of toppers for this year’s results. Students can check their results using their roll number, registration number, and date of birth on the official websites. Those not satisfied with their marks have the option to apply for revaluation after the results are out.
The overall pass percentage for the Science stream was 96.12% last year, with Commerce at 89.20% and Arts at 82.10%. The CHSE Odisha 12th Result 2024 link is available on orissaresults.nic.in, and students can follow the steps mentioned to access their scores.
Girls have shown remarkable performance this year, surpassing boys in all streams. With the official declaration of results, students are advised to check their marksheets carefully and contact school authorities in case of any discrepancies.
