OPPO India has launched a new campaign titled “Your Everyday AI Companion” featuring actor Ranbir Kapoor in collaboration with the OPPO AI Avatar. This campaign, developed by Famous Innovations, highlights the latest OPPO Reno12 Series smartphones and showcases the AI Avatar’s role in assisting Ranbir during various everyday scenarios.
The campaign consists of four short films that have been released across social media, OTT platforms, and the official OPPO website to promote the Reno12 Series. The first video premiered on July 4th, followed by subsequent releases on July 7th and July 12th.
In the first film, Ranbir Kapoor’s beach selfie is interrupted by background distractions, leading him to ask his OPPO AI Avatar to remove the “lovebirds.” The AI swiftly erases the couples using the OPPO AI Eraser 2.0’s ‘Remove People’ feature.
The second film showcases Ranbir’s group photo being disrupted when a lady walks in, catching him blinking. To salvage the shot, Ranbir turns to his AI companion for help, and the AI Avatar digitally corrects Ranbir’s wink using the AI Best Face feature.
The third film follows Ranbir shopping at a beach market, where he seeks assistance from his AI companion. Utilizing OPPO technology, the AI Avatar provides him with concise and useful points from a lengthy phone conversation.
The fourth film portrays Ranbir losing his friends and network connection, resulting in panic. Fortunately, his AI companion, the OPPO AI Avatar, uses Beacon Link to help him reconnect with his buddies.

The Reno12 Pro 5G will be available in two variants: INR 36,999 for the 12GB+256GB model and INR 40,999 for the 12GB+512GB version. The Reno12 5G, priced at INR 32,999 with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage, will go on sale in India starting from 18th July, while the Reno12 Pro 5G will be available from 25th July on the OPPO e-Store, Flipkart, and various retail outlets.
