Radhika Merchant, the soon-to-be bride of Anant Ambani, made headlines at the recent pre-wedding celebrations in Portofino, Italy. The Ambani family’s extravagant ‘On Land Portofino’ event marked the end of a lavish cruise soiree aboard a luxury ship. Radhika stole the show in a stunning vintage Dior cocktail dress from 1959, showcasing the old-world charm.
The raspberry silk faille cocktail dress, featuring a crumb-catcher bodice with a partial vertical bow at the waist, was a sight to behold. Originally priced between USD 1500 and 200, the dress was auctioned in 2016 for USD 3840, approximately Rs. 3,19,416 today. Paired with a Hermes Kelly bag and Manolo Blahnik Hangisi flats, Radhika’s look exuded elegance.
The upcoming nuptials of Anant and Radhika are set for July 12, 2024, at the Jio World Centre in Mumbai. The three-day affair will include traditional ceremonies like ‘Shubh Vivaah’ and ‘Shubh Aashirwad’, followed by a wedding reception ‘Mangal Utsav’.
