Reliance Jio, the prominent telecom operator in India, has revealed three new 5G data booster plans for its prepaid users. Priced at Rs 51, Rs 101, and Rs 151 respectively, these plans provide unlimited 5G data in addition to extra 4G data. The plans are designed to complement existing prepaid plans offering 1GB or 1.5GB of mobile data every day. However, they are not compatible with the Rs 479 and Rs 1,899 prepaid plans. The Rs 51 plan offers 3GB of 4G data, while the Rs 101 and Rs 151 plans offer 6GB and 9GB of 4G data respectively, along with unlimited 5G data. These plans ensure a seamless transition to 5G connectivity, especially for users in areas with limited 5G coverage. It should be noted that the 5G data consumption starts from the 4G quota in non-5G areas. The previously available Rs 61 plan with 6GB of data has been discontinued. Users with plans offering 2GB of mobile data per day already enjoy unlimited 5G data. The 5G booster plans can be purchased through various platforms like the Jio website, My Jio app, or third-party apps including Google Pay, Amazon Pay, PhonePe, and PayTM. These new offerings highlight Jio’s commitment to enhancing its 5G services and meeting the evolving data needs of its customers.
