The upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 series and the Galaxy Watch Ultra are generating buzz ahead of their possible announcement at the next Galaxy Unpacked event. According to reports by 91mobiles and tipster Paras Guglani, the pricing and color options for these smartwatches have been leaked. The 40mm Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to be priced between $299 (roughly Rs. 25,000) and $310 (roughly Rs. 26,000), maintaining a similar price range to its predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Watch 6. This model is anticipated to come in Cream white, Forest Green, and Marble Gray color variants.

On the other hand, the Galaxy Watch Ultra, rumored to be a more premium offering from Samsung and a competitor to the Apple Watch Ultra 2, might be priced between $699 (roughly Rs. 58,400) and $710 (roughly Rs. 59,300). This pricing strategy positions the Galaxy Watch Ultra at a lower price point than its Apple counterpart, which is priced at $799 in the US and Rs. 89,900 in India for the 49mm variant. The Samsung Galaxy Watch Ultra is expected to be available in a Titanium Gray color.

Reports suggest that the Galaxy Watch Ultra could be equipped with a penta-core CPU based on a 3nm process, similar to the one rumored to power the Galaxy Watch 7 series. The smartwatch might offer 32GB of inbuilt storage and come in a 47mm size. Additionally, it is anticipated to feature Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities, a titanium chassis, dual-band (L1+L5) GPS support, and water resistance up to 100m.

Speculations around the naming convention of the premium smartwatch vary, with suggestions such as Galaxy Watch X, Galaxy Watch Ultra, or Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. Although the official name is still uncertain, rumors hint towards a higher price point for the Galaxy Watch Ultra compared to previous models, possibly surpassing $500 / £500. The watch is expected to introduce new features such as blood pressure or blood glucose monitoring, along with enhanced health monitoring capabilities powered by ‘Galaxy AI’. Additionally, the Galaxy Watch Ultra may debut Wear OS 5, offering users advanced integration and functionality.

As the tech world eagerly awaits the next Galaxy Unpacked event, scheduled for July 10, where the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6, Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 6, and Galaxy Ring are also anticipated to be unveiled, enthusiasts are looking forward to the official launch of the Galaxy Watch 7 series and the Galaxy Watch Ultra.
