As Samsung’s annual event approaches, the company is gearing up to introduce several new devices, including the much-anticipated Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. The unveiling of these new wearables is expected to take place on July 10 during the Unpacked event. Along with the Galaxy foldables, Samsung is also set to launch the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro and Galaxy Buds 3.
Recent leaks have provided insights into the pricing and design details of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra. According to reports from 91mobiles, the US prices of both devices have been leaked, along with the expected color variants. Let’s delve into what these leaks reveal and how they might impact consumers in India.
The Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 is anticipated to be priced between USD 299 and USD 310. Considering that its predecessor, the Galaxy Watch 6, also had a starting price of USD 299, it is likely that the pricing in India would be similar. The Galaxy Watch 7 is expected to come in Marble Grey, Cream White, and Forest Green color options, a slight departure from the Gold and Graphite options of its predecessor.
While official details are yet to be released, rumors suggest that the Galaxy Watch 7 will maintain the popular rotating bezel feature from its predecessor. The recent spotting of a Samsung wearable with model number SM-L305U on the Bluetooth SIG database hints at an LTE-enabled 40mm version of the Galaxy Watch 7, with notable upgrades anticipated beyond just connectivity.
Moving on to the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, this is said to be Samsung’s first Ultra-branded smartwatch, likely to compete with the features of the Apple Watch Ultra. Reports indicate a price range of USD 699 to USD 799 for the Ultra model. Comparatively, the Apple Watch Ultra 2 was initially priced at Rs 89,900 in India, suggesting that the Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra might offer a more competitive pricing strategy.
Design-wise, leaks suggest that the Galaxy Watch Ultra will feature a rounded square titanium case with a circular screen on top. Additional details hint at the inclusion of a third button on the right side and the presence of the Exynos W1000 processor with a penta-core CPU and 3nm fabrication. The smartwatch is expected to offer 32GB of storage, a peak screen brightness of 3,000 nits, and Sapphire Crystal screen protection.
With the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 and Galaxy Watch 7 Ultra, Samsung seems poised to make a splash in the wearable tech market. Stay tuned for the official unveiling during the much-anticipated Unpacked event, where we will likely get more in-depth details about these cutting-edge devices.
