Suraj Revanna, the brother of former MP Prajwal Revanna, is embroiled in a controversy in Karnataka amid allegations of sexual assault. The saga began when Suraj Revanna alleged that he is being threatened with a false case of sexual assault by two men in Hassan, Karnataka. According to his friend Shivkumar, the men demanded a hefty sum of Rs 5 crore, warning of filing a sexual abuse case against Suraj Revanna if their demands weren’t met. The situation escalated quickly as Chethan, one of the accused, went public with claims of being sexually abused by Suraj at a farm house. This series of events occurred shortly after the incarceration of Prajwal Revanna, following the circulation of explicit videos implicating him. The videos surfaced just before the Lok Sabha polls in Hassan, leading to JD(S) suspending Prajwal from the party amidst the scandal. The BJP distanced itself from the investigation, emphasizing no connection to the controversial videos. Meanwhile, a police case has also been filed against HD Revanna, the father of Prajwal and Suraj Revanna, for an alleged kidnapping and rape incident involving a woman. HD Revanna was granted bail in both cases, sparking further intrigue and scrutiny in the unfolding controversy.
