The demand for the inclusion of Tulu in the eighth schedule of the Constitution has been a long-standing one from the people of Tulunadu. MLAs in the region, including D Vedavyas Kamath, U Rajesh Naik, and Gurme Suresh Shetty, have lauded Google Translate for adding Tulu to its list of languages.
