On Wednesday evening, veteran BJP leader Lal Krishna Advani was admitted to the Apollo Hospital in Delhi. This news came shortly after being discharged from the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) following a brief stay. The 96-year-old political stalwart is currently stable and under observation at the hospital under the care of Dr. Vinit Suri, a senior consultant in neurology. The specific details of Mr. Advani’s ailment have not been disclosed at this time. The hospital source mentioned that he was admitted around 9 pm. Advani had previously been admitted to AIIMS a week prior and was released after a night-long stay.
In March of the current year, Lal Krishna Advani, who played a significant role in the Ayodhya Ram Mandir movement, was honored with Bharat Ratna, the highest civilian award in India. The prestigious medal was presented to him by President Droupadi Murmu at his residence in the presence of esteemed figures such as Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home Minister Amit Shah, and his family members. Notably, Advani did not attend the inauguration of the Ram Mandir earlier this year due to health concerns. As the longest-serving president of the BJP and a former Leader of Opposition during the UPA government, Advani’s contributions to Indian politics have been remarkable. His leadership has left a lasting impact on the political landscape of the country. The veteran leader’s current health condition is closely monitored by medical experts, and his well-being remains a topic of concern and interest for many across the nation.
