A recent video has surfaced showing the Russian President Vladimir Putin and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un driving a Russian-built Aurus Limousine. This video has quickly gained traction across various social media platforms, highlighting the seemingly friendly connection between the two world leaders. Putin’s recent visit to North Korea, the first since 2000, aimed to solidify a crucial treaty between the two nations. The treaty ensures immediate military support from both countries in case of an attack. The viral video captures a light-hearted moment as Putin chauffeurs Kim Jong Un in the Russian presidential vehicle, a luxurious armored limousine. Both leaders are seen engaged in a cheerful conversation and sharing laughter during their drive. After disembarking from the car, they continue their discussion while strolling side by side on a lush footpath. Reports reveal that Putin gifted the Aurus limousine to Kim Jong Un, marking a significant gesture of friendship. Interestingly, this is not the first time Putin has presented Kim with this particular vehicle, having done so in February as well. With a keen interest in automobiles, Kim Jong Un is known to be an avid collector of luxury cars, despite sanctions prohibiting luxury goods from entering North Korea. Some of the vehicles in his possession include a Maybach Limousine, a Lexus sports car, a Rolls Royce Phantom, and several Mercedes models. Not to be outdone, Kim reciprocated the gift-giving by presenting Putin with two Pungsan hunting dogs, a native breed of North Korea. The exchange was captured in a heartwarming moment on Korean Central Television, where the leaders interacted with the dogs and shared their mutual love for animals. This display of camaraderie between Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un showcases a unique blend of diplomatic relations and personal connection amidst global scrutiny.
