A Planet Parade is a rare cosmic event where six or more planets align in a straight line. The Planet Parade, also known as a Planetary Alignment, is scheduled to occur on June 3, just before sunrise. During the parade, six planets including Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, revolving around the sun in an elliptical orbit will appear as they are passing in a straight line. Some might be able to see the parade before or after June 3 depending on their region. There is an app by Starwalk that can help spot the planet parade at a given location.
One will be able to witness the rare event using special equipment such as a telescope or high-power binoculars. Another Planet Parade can be witnessed on August 28, of this year. An even more special alignment involving seven planets is scheduled for February 28, 2025, with Mercury, Venus, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranu and Neptune aligning. The best place to witness the Planet Parade 2024 will be somewhere away from the skyscrapers and a city with less light pollution, and physical obstructions. Thanks For Reading!
