The Uttar Pradesh government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, has recently undertaken a significant reshuffle of Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers in the state. In a recent development, the district magistrate of Ayodhya has been transferred, along with 10 other IAS officers. Chandra Vijay Singh has been appointed as the new DM of Ayodhya, taking over from the previous official. Chandra Vijay previously served as the district magistrate for Sonbhadra, showcasing his experience and expertise in administrative roles. Additionally, Nitish Kumar has been appointed as the Managing Director of Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd after serving as the DM of Temple Town. The changes in the administrative setup aim to bring fresh perspectives and efficiency to governance across different districts in Uttar Pradesh. Nitish Kumar has been made the MD of Dakshinanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Ltd. He was the DM of Temple Town earlier. Badri Nath Singh has been made the new DM of Sonbhadra, bringing his experience as the former special secretary of Raj Bhavan to the role. The state government has also appointed Nidhi Srivastav as the new DM of Budaun, replacing Manoj Kumar. In a cascading effect, Kumar will now take charge as Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission, showcasing the dynamic nature of administrative roles in the state. Moreover, Divya Mittal has been appointed as the new DM of Deoria, succeeding Akhand Pratap Singh, who will now assume Mittal’s position in the UP State Rural Road Development Authority. The reshuffling also extends to Lucknow Development Authority (LDA) with Indra Mani Tripathi being appointed as the new DM of Auraiya, replacing Neha Prakash, who has been assigned the role of Director of Training and Employment in UP. Prathmesh Kumar, who previously served as the special secretary with the chief minister, has been appointed as the new vice chairman of LDA, indicating a strategic move in administrative placements. The reallocation of administrative responsibilities in Uttar Pradesh highlights the state government’s focus on ensuring effective governance and optimal utilization of resources for the welfare of citizens. These changes bring a fresh wave of leadership and accountability in various districts across the state, with the aim of promoting growth and development in alignment with the government’s vision and objectives.
