In the wake of the tragic incident at the TRP Game Zone in Rajkot, Gujarat, where 27 lives were lost, including children, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has extended his support to the affected families. The Congress party has further called for a ‘Rajkot Bandh’ on June 25, marking one month since the tragic incident, with demands for increased compensation for the victims’ families.
Following the fire, concerns over safety regulations have been raised, as investigations revealed the game zone was operating without the necessary fire safety clearance. In response, the state government has formed a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the causes of the fire and recommend preventive measures for the future.
